The .mov files don’t work in teh xine viewer.
Is there a plugin for this or something.

On Linux/Unix, try using the java version instead of Quicktime (default). You can change it using the menu in the top right.

These green trees made this place more colourful.

Was this photo taken from a helicopter or what’s going on here?

He has photoshopped the kite from the picture. I guess he uses a 180 degree lens and takes 2 pictures.

  8. Scott Haefner said on October 18, 2004 at 7:53 am

Actually, the kite is not visible because I took the sky shot from the ground before launching the kite. The kite isn’t visible in the ground shot either because the camera is pointed away from the kite.

I live near Oban, and must say I have never seen the town from up there before! Truly how the birds see us! Thanks!

Amazing. How wide is the lense? How many shots does it take? What software do you use? Do you use the same exposure for all the shots?

  19. Ken said on February 20, 2005 at 9:07 pm

Oops… I found the “How they are made” section. Amazing stuff.

For years I’ve traveled past this big feature on my way to the west side of Mull and always wondered what it was and what it would look from the inside! Thanks for the view and brilliant work.

    To Comment #15

As the photography is truly breathtaking and life affirming and celebrates our planet in a unique way I find your swearing and disrespect towards Brazil and Brazilians in general to be in poor taste. Why post your hateful comments here? I’ve met many Brazilians and they are very happy people, regardless of many of life’s tribulations. Shouldn’t YOU be happier, since you consider your country to be so superior?

Your comment insults this website and detracts from what they are trying to do here.

On to a more fitting comment. I am immensely enjoying the pictures and have been doing some panoramics from around my area, though nowhere near as amazing as you!

Thanks for the fantastic pictures, I am humbled by the artistry and the view.

Spain hasn’t been “free” for very long. Perhaps this individual thinks Franco was Brazilian.

Scott, I love how you do these shots. I really enjoy your work.
