Ocean Biome

One of five major biomes inside Biosphere 2, the ocean ecosystem is roughly the size of an Olympic swimming pool and contains 1 million gallons of seawater. The other representative biomes created inside include a rainforest, a desert, a mangrove wetlands, and a savanna grassland, which is visible on the cliff above.
