Flaming Crater

Interesting crater formed by an evaporated pool of salt water. I love the textured ridges emanating from the crater. The low sun angle is what makes this image special–because it lights up the ridges (as if they’re on fire!) and creates longer shadows, emphasizing the subtle relief.
