Abandoned windmill farm at South Point. Built in 1986, the windmills fell into disrepair and were shut down last August. About 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away is the Pakini Nui wind project, 14 new windmills brought online in March 2007 to provide power for up to 10,000 households.

This view was taken from the vantage point of one of the forgotten windmills in the row closest to the road.
