Close-up view of the pickleweed/dodder and wetlands adjacent to the Petaluma River at Port Sonoma. The area is being considered for expanded ferry service in an effort to relieve traffic congestion in the San Francisco Bay Area. The plan is contentious, in part, due to these wetlands, some of the last remaining wetlands on the SF Bay.
