Drawbridge ghost town and adjacent pond that is part of San Francisco Bay. The town thrived in the 20s as a hunting and fishing hub, but the Depression, pollution and the pumping of fresh water that lay beneath the salt marshes led to it’s downfall beginning in the 30s. The last resident, Charlie Luce, left in 1979 after repeatedly suffering vandalism to his cabin, even while he was present.
