Lake Union overlook/square (in the background) at Gas Works Park, a popular kite-flying location. Unfortunately, I was standing against the overlook’s railing when my kite dropped rapidly, and I couldn’t move back to compensate. My camera slammed into the side of the old plant and got wedged so tightly that the camera was flying the kite when the wind picked up again. After nearly 30 minutes of trying to free the camera, I was ready to give up when I finally coaxed it free. The photos in this series were taken after retrieving the camera and making a few adjustments.
