One Down

2-shot panorama of the Public Health Service Hospital in the Presidio. Built in the 1930s, and abandoned since 1982, the hospital is now being prepared for a new life as apartment units. Crews are tearing down the (non-historic) wings that were added in the 50s, bringing back the original charm of the WPA-funded hospital. I was amazed that the original facade is still completely intact behind the added wings.
