Inside the Lobby area of the Goldfield Hotel, which was abandoned after soldiers from Tonopah Air Base 25 checked out in 1945.
The hotel was completed in 1908, when the town boasted over 25,000 following the discovery of gold in 1902. By 1910, less than 5000 people remained. Today, less than 500 call Goldfield home.
