Inside the FAA radio transmitter / control site in Tracy that was used to communicate via high frequency (short wave) with military aircraft flying over the Pacific Ocean, beginning in the late 1950s. It was made of 18-inch concrete walls all the way around, including the ceiling, to withstand a nuclear attack.
Abandoned and sealed up sometime in the 90s.
