According to legend and Ballarat’s caretaker / lone permanent resident, this Dodge Power Wagon belonged to Charlie Manson. Although I found conflicting accounts in my research on the truck, Barker Ranch (where authorities found Manson hiding under the bathroom sink in a raid) was just south of town on a 4WD route.
