The Lorenzo Theater was the first theater in northern California to show screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show where members of the audience performed on stage using props.
Opened in 1947, and closed in 1982, the theatre has sat vacant ever since, falling into a state of disrepair. Currently, the Lorenzo Theater Foundation is raising funds to try to save the theatre from the wrecking ball.
