The announcer’s booth above the grandstand, with Phoenix sprawl encroaching from the south. Waving my flash light around to light up the inside walls attracted the caretaker’s attention and got me run out of here abruptly, ending the night prematurely. Somehow I managed to escape and cross a huge open field to safety despite him driving around like a maniac with a spotlight.
