Photo 123 of 1908
Top-side on an open Titan II Missile Silo at night, with the remaining crib work and 3-foot thick, bomb resistant rim lit by the full moon. I scooted my fisheye lens and tripod up to the edge of the partially water-filled, 140-foot deep silo.
As far as I know, this is the only Titan II missile silo still in existence (besides the one that was converted to a museum in Tucson). All the others were exploded in accordance with an international treaty with Russia.
