Former trading floor of the San Francisco Mining Exchange, which was formed in 1862 and is the second oldest stock exchange in the United States. This historic landmark, an adaptation of the classical temple with four pairs of fluted columns, served as a trading hall for mining commodities when it opened in 1923.
