Looking west from Kelso Depot on the tracks that connect Salt Lake to Los Angeles. During the war, this section was used to transport ore mined at Kaiser’s Vulcan Mine 9 miles away. Today, freight trains still pass by regularly but the depot is no longer used and has been restored as a visitors center.
