World’s Tallest

When this 3-story, 42-foot rise industrial lift went into service in the late 40’s, it was the worlds tallest escalator.

Long forgotten and surpassed as time marches on, the impressive structure is still glamorous and photo-worthy in its decaying state.

Taken at twilight with mostly ambient light plus my flashlight to illuminate the escalator.
