Francis House

Sadly, the beauty of the historic Francis House in Napa County is only skin deep. Behind the 120-year-old, locally quarried stone edifice, the inside of the old Calistoga Hospital is destroyed and in a state of disrepair. Even so, several years ago, a developer announced his grand plan to turn it into a five-star country inn with 25 guest rooms plus a pool and spa.
